Youtian Metal was awarded the Second Prize of the 2022 “Jiangsu Metallurgical Industry Association and Jiangsu Metallurgical Society Science and Technology Award.”

On December 8, 2022, the Jiangsu Metallurgical Industry Association and the Jiangsu Society for Metals convened the “Provincial Symposium on the Operational Trends and Countermeasures of the Metallurgical Industry and the Expanded Meeting of the Association’s Board of Directors” at the Daxian Group in Jiangning, Nanjing. Our company, as a vice‑presidential unit of the New Materials Branch, attended the meeting.
At the meeting, the list of winners of the 2022 Jiangsu Metallurgical Industry Association and Jiangsu Metal Society Science and Technology Awards was announced. In accordance with the relevant award regulations, following application, review, public announcement, and approval processes, a total of 45 scientific and technological achievement awards were conferred, and 54 individuals received the Science and Technology Talent Award. The “Key Technological Research on the Production Process of High-Quality Hafnium Wire for Plasma Cutting” project submitted by Youtian Metals was awarded the Second Prize; concurrently, the R&D Department Manager, the Deputy Manager, and the Technical Department Manager—three individuals in total—were jointly honored with the Young Science and Technology Talent Award.
In 2022, the Jiangsu Metallurgical Industry Association and the Jiangsu Society for Metals jointly launched their first-ever Science and Technology Awards program, aimed at accelerating the implementation of an innovation-driven development strategy, advancing scientific and technological progress in Jiangsu’s metallurgical sector, and inspiring the enthusiasm and creativity of relevant researchers. This award represents a well-deserved recognition of our company’s innovative achievements and its core team of leading scientific and technical talent. Moving forward, Youtian Metal will continue to increase investment in scientific and technological innovation, actively pursue cutting-edge R&D initiatives, and contribute to the advancement of metallurgical science and technology in our province.
