We warmly celebrate the successful conclusion of the unveiling ceremony for the YouTian–CAS Institute of Semiconductors Joint Laboratory.

On the morning of May 24, 2018, the unveiling ceremony for the “Transition Metal & Advanced Semiconductor Materials Joint Laboratory” between Nanjing Youtian Metal Technology Co., Ltd. and the Institute of Semiconductors, Chinese Academy of Sciences, was solemnly held at the Zhonglang Holiday Hotel. Attending the unveiling ceremony were Chen Huaihao, General Manager of Youtian Metal; Wei Jie, Director of the R&D Department; Wang Chengwei, Administrative Director; Fan Zhijun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Institute of Semiconductors, CAS; Wang Zhijie, Director of the Key Laboratory of Materials Science; and Yang Shaoyan, Leader of the Research Group on Ultra-Wide Bandgap Semiconductor Materials. In addition, Cao Aijun, Director of the Economic Operation Division of the Nanjing Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology, also attended the ceremony as a specially invited guest.

At the outset of the meeting, Chen Huaihao, General Manager of You Tian Metal, extended a warm welcome and heartfelt gratitude to the experts from the Institute of Semiconductors of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the leaders from the Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology. With passionate and inspiring words, he officially announced the establishment of the “Joint Laboratory for Transition Metal & Advanced Semiconductor Materials,” expressing his hope that the establishment of this joint laboratory would not only boost the applied research and technology transfer of our company’s core products but also accelerate innovation in China’s semiconductor technology. At the same time, General Manager Chen urged both sides to work together diligently to ensure that the joint laboratory achieves tangible results, thereby realizing mutual win-win outcomes for both parties.
Subsequently, Secretary Fan Zhijun from the Institute of Semiconductors of the Chinese Academy of Sciences delivered a speech, sincerely thanking Youtian Metals for their efforts in making this unveiling ceremony possible. She stated that the establishment of the “Joint Laboratory for Transition Metal and Advanced Semiconductor Materials” is highly aligned with the current policy trends and development needs of our country. Filled with confidence, she looks forward to leveraging the combined strengths and resources of both parties through this joint laboratory, driving innovative research into the application of hafnium and zirconium metals in the semiconductor field, and making new contributions to the development of China’s semiconductor industry.
Next, Zheng Ya, the assistant to the general manager, introduced our company’s basic information. Meanwhile, Professor Yang Shaoyan from the Institute of Semiconductors provided a detailed overview of the research topics related to the joint laboratory. He warmly praised Mr. Chen, the CEO of YouTian Metals, for his visionary foresight and wisdom. On behalf of the research team, he pledged that they would live up to the trust placed in them and do their utmost to achieve the development goals of the joint laboratory.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, General Manager Chen Huaihao first jointly signed the joint laboratory agreement and the technology development contract with Teacher Yang Shaoyan. He then, together with Secretary Fan Zhijun, officially unveiled the plaque for the joint laboratory, marking the successful completion of this unveiling ceremony. This also signifies that Nanjing Youtian Metal Technology Co., Ltd. will continue to innovate and forge ahead, contributing its own strength to the development of China’s semiconductor industry.

Recently, at the 16th Shanghai International Chemical Equipment Expo held at the Shanghai National Exhibition and Convention Center, our company actively participated as an exhibitor. At the expo, we engaged enthusiastically with customers, exchanging information on industry trends, product applications, and price developments. Overall, the event was a complete success. From August 23 to 25, the 15th Shanghai International Chemical Equipment Expo was held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. This expo brought together numerous high-quality companies specializing in chemical equipment and chemical materials, making it a grand industry networking event.

The biennial 2023 China Titanium Valley International Titanium Industry Expo opened on the 20th at the Baoji International Convention and Exhibition Center in Shaanxi Province. This year’s expo brought together 223 exhibiting companies, setting a new record for the largest scale yet. Experts, scholars, and industry leaders from across the country are using this expo as a platform to analyze industry trends, build industry consensus, collaborate, and jointly promote the high-quality development of the titanium and new materials industries, taking their advancement to a new level.
In accordance with the spirit of the document “Several Measures for Accelerating the Development of Specialized, Refined, Unique, and Innovative Small and Medium-sized Enterprises” (Ningzhengbanfa [2021] No. 61), in order to encourage enterprises to increase their R&D investment, focus on core technologies, deepen their expertise in niche markets, continuously generate high-quality patents, and promote the high-quality development of specialized, refined, unique, and innovative enterprises, the Nanjing Intellectual Property Bureau has organized the first round of application and evaluation for intellectual property-intensive products. This selection process is open exclusively to a total of 570 enterprises—namely, those recognized at the national and provincial levels as specialized, refined, unique, and innovative enterprises, as well as city-level enterprises included in the database for cultivation as specialized, refined, unique, and innovative enterprises. YouTian’s “Metal Hafnium” product has been awarded this recognition.
