2021 Fire Emergency Drill

To further strengthen employees’ fire safety awareness, enhance their ability to respond to emergencies and carry out emergency firefighting, and ensure they can properly use fire‑extinguishing equipment and master escape and self‑rescue procedures, the Safety and Environmental Protection Department, in accordance with the company’s emergency response plan and with strong support from the General Manager and the cooperation of all departments, organized two fire‑emergency drills on October 25 and December 8.
The first emergency drill primarily focused on training R&D and technical personnel by simulating a fire alarm at the R&D Testing Center, whereas this exercise mainly simulated a fire alarm in the production workshop to train relevant personnel.
This event was divided into two main phases: First, an evacuation drill was conducted. Upon the sounding of the alarm, the command team promptly took up their designated positions to oversee the evacuation. Under their guidance, all employees swiftly and orderly evacuated along the prescribed safe routes to a secure area. Second, there was a session on fire safety education and hands-on practice with firefighting equipment. After reaching the safe zone, the Safety and Environmental Protection Department briefed employees on fire safety principles and demonstrated the proper use of fire extinguishers and other firefighting tools, ensuring that everyone could confidently operate these devices. To further reinforce the practical outcomes, several fire extinguishers and fire pans were provided on site, allowing employees to practice using them in simulated fire‑extinguishing scenarios and gain firsthand experience with their operation.
Through repeated fire‑emergency drills, all employees have been equipped with the proper techniques for emergency evacuation and are familiar with the procedures and routes for swift and orderly evacuation, ensuring that emergency response efforts can be carried out quickly, efficiently, and in an organized manner.
Going forward, the company will uphold a long-term safety‑prevention mechanism, continue to organize a series of safety‑education and emergency‑response drills, and treat each drill as a real‑world exercise, ensuring that in the event of a disaster, personnel remain calm, evacuation proceeds smoothly, arrangements are well‑coordinated, and self‑rescue is carried out promptly.
